Deleting your Rahlio account
You can delete the account from inside the app, or ask for it here without reinstalling anything. The deletion happens 30 days after the request, and until then you can change your mind.
From the app
The quick way. The request is recorded at once and an email with the exact date is sent to you.
- Open the app and go to the "Profile" tab.
- Choose "Privacy and data", then "Delete account".
- Read what goes and what stays, confirm, and you are given the deletion date.
- Changed your mind? The same screen has "Keep my account" — until the date set.
What happens, and when
The moment you ask, the account is marked for deletion and an email with the date is sent to you. For 30 days everything stays in place and one tap cancels it.
When the 30 days end, the account is deleted permanently: it can no longer be signed in to and the identifying details are removed. A final email confirms that it was done.
A booking already placed with a hotel continues to exist with the hotel — deleting the account does not cancel it. To cancel a booking, use the order screen before you delete.
What goes and what stays
Kept, as the law requires
- Records of paid orders — without a name or contact details — for accounting and tax
- The consent history, as proof of what was agreed and when
- WhatsApp correspondence about bookings, detached from the account
Removed
- Name, email, phone and the sign-in methods (Google, Apple, phone number)
- Saved travellers, sensitive preferences (dietary, allergies, accessibility) and travel preferences
- Searches and trips that were never booked, including the free-text request
- Registered devices, notifications, and any data-export files that were produced
Before you delete: a copy of your data
In the app, under "Privacy and data" › "My data", you can download a copy of everything held about you — a JSON file under the right to data portability, and a readable page in the same language. After the deletion there is nothing left to produce it from.
Without the app
No access to the app? Write to us from the address you registered with, or quote the phone number on the account. We verify that the request is yours and come back with the deletion date — the same 30 days, the same rules.
