Rahlio Plus Terms
How the Rahlio Plus club works: the points you earn on what you book, the tiers that each give more, the coupons your points become, when points and coupons lapse, and the notice we owe you before any of it is reduced. Membership is free and is never sold.

1. What Rahlio Plus is
1.1. Rahlio Plus is the loyalty club of the Service ("Plus", "the club"). Every verified account is a member; there is nothing to join, nothing to pay and nothing to renew. The club is a gift from Rahlio to the people who book with it: points, tiers and coupons are never sold, have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money.
1.2. These terms form part of the Terms of Use and apply together with the Booking Terms, the Cancellation Policy and the Privacy Policy. Where these terms and a screen of the Service disagree, these terms apply.
2. How points are earned
2.1. You earn points on every booking you make yourself through the Service — a hotel, a flight or a package — once it is paid. The club counts in US dollars because the Supplier prices, settles and issues vouchers in US dollars: the order’s total is converted to dollars at the exchange rate of the day it is paid, and you earn 1 point for every 1 US dollar, multiplied by your tier’s rate. Every figure is shown to you in your own currency beside a "≈" sign.
2.2. Points are written to your account as pending when the order is paid, and become yours 14 days after the last night of the stay (for a flight alone, 14 days after the flight). A booking that is cancelled or refunded before then earns nothing, and its pending points are reversed. No points are earned on a booking made for you by a travel agent, nor on anything bought before these terms took effect.
3. Tiers: each one gives more
3.1. Your tier is decided by the number of completed stays in the trailing 24 months. A stay is completed when a confirmed hotel booking’s last night has passed; a booking with several rooms is one stay. A tier you reach is kept for at least twelve months, and is reviewed only on its anniversary — never in the middle of the year.
- Plus — every verified account: 1 point per US dollar; a US$10 coupon for every 1,000 points.
- Silver — 3 completed stays in 24 months: 1.25 points per US dollar; a US$10 coupon for every 1,000 points; the price fair opens to you one hour early; an upgrade request is passed to the hotel with your booking (the hotel decides, and nothing is promised).
- Gold — 10 completed stays in 24 months: 1.5 points per US dollar; a US$10 coupon for every 800 points; your points do not expire while you hold Gold; priority support; everything Silver has.
4. Coupons
4.1. When your available points reach your tier’s threshold, the threshold is deducted and a coupon of US$10 is issued to you automatically — one coupon per crossing — and you are told. A coupon carries a Rahlio code, is personal to your account and cannot be transferred or sold.
4.2. A coupon is redeemed on a hotel booking made through the Service: on a package it applies to the hotel. It is valid for 12 months from the day it is issued, one coupon may be used per booking, and it takes at most 5% off the price of the booking — which is why each coupon states a minimum hotel spend, being the greater of US$100 and the coupon’s value divided by 5%. A US$10 coupon therefore needs a hotel booking of at least US$200.
4.3. At the checkout the coupon is offered to you with the price before and after it; you may decline it. If you accept, the discount is applied by the Supplier through a single-use voucher on its payment page, so the amount charged to your card is already the reduced price; the voucher code itself is never shown to you.
4.4. If a booking on which a coupon was used is cancelled, the coupon is returned to your account and may be used again until its own expiry date. A coupon has no cash value, is not refunded in money, and is not applied to a booking made by a travel agent.
4.5. Invitations: for every friend who joins the Service with your invitation link or code and completes a first stay that is not cancelled and costs at least US$300 (converted from the booking’s currency at the rate of the day it is counted), you are given a coupon worth US$5 — which, like every coupon, needs a hotel booking of at least US$100 — and you are told. A smaller booking does not count, but a later one of US$300 or more can. The friend is given no coupon for it. An invitation between two accounts of one person, or of people who share a phone number, an email address or a device, does not count; at most ten of your invitations count in any 30 days, the others counting later; and you are given at most 20 invitation coupons in any 365 days — an invitation beyond that still counts, without a coupon. If the friend’s booking that made an invitation count is cancelled or refunded before you use its coupon, the coupon is withdrawn and the invitation waits for another stay; a coupon you have already used is not taken back.
5. When points and coupons lapse
5.1. Points expire 24 months after they were earned, oldest first, and your account shows the date. While you hold Gold your points do not expire; if you leave Gold, they expire on their original dates.
5.2. A coupon expires 12 months after it was issued. We tell you 14 days before a coupon lapses, on every channel you have not switched off — that one notice is sent even if you have switched the club’s notices off, so that nothing of yours lapses in silence.
6. Changes to the club, and the notice we owe you
6.1. Rahlio Plus is a customer club within the meaning of section 16A of the Consumer Protection Law, 5741-1981. We may improve the club at any time. Any change that reduces the value of points or coupons, or shortens the time you have to use them — a lower earning rate, a lower multiplier, a higher threshold, a smaller coupon, a shorter validity — takes effect only after at least nine months’ written notice to members, and until it takes effect your points and coupons may be used on the terms in force when you earned them.
6.2. The Service refuses such a change until the notice date has been recorded and the notice period has passed; the console that manages the club enforces this rule in code.
6.3. If the club is closed, members are given the same notice and may use their points and coupons on the existing terms throughout it.
7. What we tell you, and how
7.1. We tell you when points are earned, when they become yours, when you reach a new tier, when a coupon is waiting and when one is about to lapse. These are notices about your own account and not advertising; you can switch them off in the app’s notification settings, except the notice that a coupon is about to lapse.
7.2. Offers and news about the club are sent only if you have consented to marketing messages, and you can withdraw that consent at any time.
8. Your information
8.1. To run the club we keep a ledger of your points and coupons and the bookings they came from. Your first earn records your consent to the club, which you can withdraw in the app’s privacy settings; the ledger is included in your data export and is erased with your account. The Privacy Policy applies.
9. Fair use
9.1. Points and coupons earned through error, fraud or a booking that was never paid may be reversed or voided, and we may close the club account of anybody who abuses it. Where we do, we say so and why.
10. Questions
10.1. Write to us at support@rahlio.com about anything to do with the club, your points or a coupon.
